Milwaukee Engagement Photo Shoot

At the end of May, I got the chance to meet up with one of my wedding couples, Maddie & Chris, to photograph them around their old neighborhood and yap for a few hours before their wedding in August! We truly got so lucky with the weather and had the warmest of sunsets & a 75 degree night in Milwaukee. We stopped to grab some ice cream quick at Purple Door then walked around to find some cute spots around the Walkers Point neighborhood.

I love treating engagement sessions like mini dates for my couples where I get to third wheel and hear all about their love in some of their favorite spots! Engagement sessions can be as easy as walking around your favorite neighborhood and letting myself take the direction of where to have you go and myself take your photos. Collaboration between my couples & I and creating a comfy environment are my main priorities when shooting together and Maddie & Chris made it so easy! I mentioned to Maddie I wanted to use the colors red & get some ice cream and conveniently enough, they had an old ice cream spot they used to go to in their favorite neighborhood, and we got to walk around and yap on this lovely summer night.
