My Ethos as a Film Wedding Photographer
The ethos of my work is to observe, be playful, and stay curious with connection and comfort being at the heart of what I do. My intentions throughout your day are for you to feel relaxed, fully present, and truly basking in the feels of your wedding with your partner, friends and families.
I use both film and digital cameras throughout my wedding days. I view film as a tool to help craft the emotional narrative I want in the image and am continuously drawn to the artistry of it. The seemingly mundane moments always seem to have a bit more magic when told through this medium! The colors are rich, the feeling behind having “one shot” to capture a moment in time, and the element of surprise are things that keep me drawn to film. Being able to give my couples family heirlooms that they’ll get to cherish years down the line makes shooting in this medium just a little more special.
Saying all of this, I aim to work with people who have a love for film & treasure wedding day galleries in all its forms — the silly, the intimate, the carefree-ness; kind folks that don’t take themselves too seriously but orchestrate things with intention & lots of love.
