On a cozy spring day in Milwaukee, the lounge at The George and Madcap Lounge transformed into the perfect setting for an intimate Milwaukee wedding that was equal parts relaxed and full of energy. Mostly held in the cozy, warmly lit lounge area, this celebration was anything but traditional — low key in all the best ways, tons of laughs & intimate moments, and endless bowls of candy. With its warm lighting, laid-back atmosphere, and uniquely urban charm, this Milwaukee wedding venue delivered the perfect vibe for Liz & Zach to keep things personal, stylish, and effortlessly cozy.

As a Milwaukee wedding photographer, getting to shoot a wedding at The George has been a dream of mine! Liz & Zach truly blew me away with their intentions and visions for their wedding day and getting to photograph it was such an honor. We started off the afternoon with some quick getting ready moments with Liz in The George’s super charming bridal suite, then had the cutest first look with L & Z.

After their ceremony, Liz & Zach opted out of doing a traditional sit down dinner! Instead, they wanted to keep things low key by having all their friends and family hang out in the charming lounge of The George wedding venue and it was such a treat to witness as a film wedding photographer. It almost felt like I was at a luxurious and exclusive restaurant documenting intimate moments between people, but to make it even better it just so happened to be a little wedding!
